Are there any advantages in purchasing an ‘08 Allez Elite versus an ‘07 model? A local shop has both available with a significant discount for the ‘07 model. I will be new to the sport and have decided this is the bike for me. I see very little differences in comparing specs, however, I have no idea what even these differences pose.

In addition, would you recommend any immediate upgrades to components. I will be a new rider, so I want an entry level bike, however, I am not averse to spending something additional if there will be a noticeable improvement in comfort or rideability.

programme. I dont really want to build my legs though as they are quite big already. I am more interested in definition/weight loss.Can anybody suggest the frequency of training/milage i should be doing? Distance or hills? First-timer looking for a Road Bike/Cycling summer camp/school?

I am looking to go somewhere this summer (can be virtually anywhere in the world) to go cycling, preferably with a big group. Ideally this would be a several-day excursion perhaps even a week or two. I have searched on google for quite a while but I can’t find anything, I’m looking for a school for lack of a better word or a camp. I found some, but they all say recommend able to ride at least 35 miles comfortably. I don’t have a road bike and I have never done it, but I would like to. Are there any camps/schools like these around? Ideally I would love to learn how to do it while I am there and progress as a rider and eventually go on a big group ride

I just bought my first set of sunglasses for road cycling and they came with three different lenses: clear, dark, and amber. I know the dark lenses are for very sunny conditions. When should the amber and clear lenses be used? NIghtime? Dusk?
